The Excellent Chief welcomes you to the Jewel P. Lightfoot Council #109. This council was granted a charter by the Grand Council of Knight Masons, USA.
Typically meetings take place the 4th Monday of the month at 6:30pm. Additionally, the Council meets on an evening close to Saint Patrick's Day for a Donnybrook and on an evening between Chirstmas and New Year's Eve for dinner. Please check the York Rite Temple calendar for up to date meetings.
About the Knight Masons
In short, the purposes of our Council are:
- To perpetuate the ancient ritals of the Irish Masonic Canon.
- To elevate membership only to those Freemasons who in their character and persons have amply and thouroughly demonstrated in in their Masonis lices a true and honorable record of service to its goals.
- To foster the regular exploration and study of the Masonic Tradition and Heritage.
- To encourage the members engagement in festive board.
- To promote charity in the Masonic tradition in the community.
